1. Russian Artist Ekaterina Panikanova uses books as unique canvases in her visually striking series of paintings, Errata Corrige. The free flowing pages give her paintings a distinguishing impression of depth and her choice of black ink creates the illusion that the pages of the books are bleeding ink images. It’s a beautiful series that is a metaphor for “the storage of images, traumas, and experiences that [people] carry for all their lives.”
